ServiceNow Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and prioritize the daily ServiceNow product backlog according to business value.

• Act as the main point of contact for business stakeholders and handle customer requests.

• Create user stories and acceptance criteria; ensure that backlog items are prepared for development.

• Collaborate with the Scrum Master to ensure sprint readiness and maintain backlog health.

• Represent the business during sprint reviews and demonstrations; collect and integrate feedback.

• Review and verify the accuracy of AI-generated meeting summaries and requirements before they are added to the backlog.

• Provide updates on delivered value and backlog status to the team and stakeholders.

• Escalate competing priorities across product domains to the leadership of the ServiceNow platform.

• Work alongside the Scrum Master to establish an Agile development framework for the ServiceNow team and enhance platform capabilities with EmployeeWorks, NowAssist, AI Control Tower, HRSD, and L1 Support Agent.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be accepted in place of a degree.

• Proven experience in managing a backlog or a similar prioritization and requirements role.

• Strong communication skills with stakeholders and effective requirements-gathering abilities.

• Knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its functionalities.

• Solid experience in Agile development methodologies.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or an equivalent certification is preferred.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is preferred.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as ITOM, HAM, SAM, CSM, HRSD, and AICT is preferred.

• Experience in deploying AI capabilities, especially with ServiceNow NowAssist, is preferred.
