This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create customer applications focused on Work Order management, scheduling, and dispatch.

• Work closely with stakeholders to pinpoint essential functionalities within custom ServiceNow instances.

• Modify ServiceNow event rules as needed to ensure accurate CMDB binding.

• Engage with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather environmental information that supports service mapping and event-related tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with ServiceNow.

• Understanding of Sam Pro and the ability to effectively communicate and implement it.

• Capability to develop interfaces tailored to various user audiences based on custom application models or Service Portals.

• Experience in creating integrated logic and functional components to interface with ServiceNow's internal services and APIs through REST.

• Familiarity with service-oriented and distributed application architecture in an enterprise setting, including web services, data access and persistence, and client/server models.

• Knowledge of both credentialless and credential-based Discovery.

• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and integrating ServiceNow SAM Pro software products, emphasizing discovery, service mapping, certification management, Service Graph Connectors, and Multisource CMDB.

• Ability to prevent duplicate Configuration Items (CIs) using CI identifiers.

• Skill in extending Horizontal Discovery with custom Infrastructure Patterns and Application Patterns.

• Competence in configuring, managing, and maintaining MID servers.

• Proficient in using the command line console for Service Mapping tasks.

• Ability to work with and migrate patterns across environments for Service Mapping purposes.

• Expertise in configuring Identification Rules for Service Mapping.

• Knowledge and experience in discovering multi-tier services, including advanced pattern configuration for Service Mapping.
