ServiceNow ITSM Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Configure and improve the Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog modules.

• Create catalog items, record producers, variable sets, and fulfillment flows using Flow Designer.

• Develop and maintain SLAs, assignment rules, notifications, and approval workflows.

• Customize the Service Portal and Employee Center experiences, including necessary widgets.

• Build integrations with monitoring, collaboration, and identity tools through IntegrationHub and Scripted REST APIs.

• Configure Virtual Agent topics and support Predictive Intelligence or Now Assist use cases.

• Write both server-side and client-side scripts while adhering to platform best practices and minimizing technical debt.

• Assist with upgrades, create ATF tests, and manage releases through instance stack environments.

• Troubleshoot production issues and deliver tier-3 platform support.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of practical ServiceNow development experience with a strong focus on ITSM.

• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and their alignment with ServiceNow.

• Proficient in JavaScript, Glide APIs, ACLs, and REST integrations.

• Familiarity with Flow Designer, Service Portal, and the Automated Test Framework.

• Capability to convert business requirements into technical designs and concise user stories.

• ServiceNow CSA, CAD, and CIS-IT Service Management certifications are preferable.

• ITIL 4 Foundation certification is a plus.

• Experience with ITOM (Event Management, Discovery) or Hardware Asset Management is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Now Assist / generative AI features on the platform is a bonus.
