ServiceNow ITAM Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Configure and personalize HAM Pro and SAM Pro, which includes managing asset lifecycle phases, stockrooms, and normalizing models and publishers.

• Create and oversee software entitlements, perform license reconciliation, and manage publisher pack setups for Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, and other vendors.

• Ensure the quality of CMDB data through the use of Discovery, Service Graph Connectors, IRE rules, and CMDB Health dashboards.

• Connect ServiceNow with procurement, finance, MDM, and endpoint tools like Intune, SCCM, and Jamf using IntegrationHub and REST APIs.

• Design workflows for asset requests, refreshes, retirements, and disposals utilizing Flow Designer.

• Develop server-side and client-side scripts, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.

• Generate reports and dashboards that showcase asset utilization, compliance standings, and cost-saving measures.

• Collaborate with asset managers, procurement teams, and IT operations to collect requirements and transform them into user stories.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of practical ServiceNow development experience, with a minimum of 2 years concentrating on ITAM.

• Solid understanding of HAM Pro, SAM Pro, and the CMDB data structure.

• Expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and REST/SOAP integrations.

• Familiarity with various software licensing models (per-device, per-user, subscription, core-based).

• Experience in Agile delivery methodologies and update set/source control practices.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) are preferred.

• CIS-Hardware Asset Management and/or CIS-Software Asset Management certifications are a plus.

• Experience in SaaS License Management and cloud cost management is advantageous.

• Knowledge of ITIL 4 and IAITAM practices is considered beneficial.
