This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct general maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep on material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors.
• Organize scheduled maintenance and maintain comprehensive records of completed preventive tasks.
• Execute corrective repairs and preventive maintenance on MHE, batteries, automated systems, and conveyors in accordance with site and OEM standards.
• Liaise with site managers, supervisors, and operations leaders regarding equipment status, service needs, timelines, progress, delays, and challenges.
• Achieve or surpass service response time, first-time fix rate, and preventive maintenance completion targets.
• Report any equipment damage, coordinate necessary parts, and keep precise service and inventory records.
• Collaborate with the Parts team concerning parts and supplies.
• Utilize OEM software, service manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts schematics for diagnostics, troubleshooting, programming, adjustments, and replacements.
• Maintain a minimum of 80% technician efficiency or achieve 100% completion of monthly preventive maintenance.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and safety devices to ensure compliance with OSHA, facility, and manufacturer standards.
• Keep the service vehicle or shop workspace clean, organized, and efficient, applying 5S methodology.
• Contribute to the Kenco Operating System by identifying safer, more efficient, and effective working methods.
• Carry out monthly inspections of the designated service vehicle or shop workspace.
• High school diploma, G.E.D., or completion of a technical school program is required.
• 2-4 years of mechanical experience; preferably with repair and maintenance of material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors, or similar machinery.
• ASE Certification is preferred.
• Silver and/or Gold Certification is preferred.
• Electrical journeyman certification is preferred.
• Experience in electrical and pneumatic systems is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues across various types of equipment.
• Proficient in using email, work order management software, and mobile applications for daily tasks.
• Capable of reading and interpreting electrical and hydraulic system diagrams.
• Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Required to provide personal mechanic technician hand tools.
• Must be able to operate lift trucks safely.
• Expected to travel approximately 25% of the time or less.
• A passport is not mandatory but is recommended.
