Service Technician – Commercial Kitchen Equipment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen and food service equipment.

• Interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to identify issues.

• Collaborate with restaurant and hospitality managers to address equipment concerns and suggest repairs.

• Oversee the daily service schedule and carry out tasks autonomously.

• Join an emergency on-call rotation, which includes nights and weekends.

• Occasionally travel overnight as assigned.

• Visit customer sites to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration units, and dishwashers.

• Communicate findings to customers to ensure their kitchens operate smoothly.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent.

• Minimum of one year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or military service.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and effective troubleshooting abilities.

• Capability to work independently and manage service call priorities.

• Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.

• Availability for occasional overnight travel when necessary.

• Physical ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach frequently.

• Capacity to lift and carry up to 70 pounds occasionally.

• Ability to work in proximity to ladders and roofs, moving machinery, steam, flames, hot surfaces, electrical equipment, and in damp, humid, freezing, high, or precarious conditions.
