Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Cover the regions of Southeastern California and Western Arizona

• Maintain and service emergency responder and fire rescue equipment within the designated area

• Deliver exceptional customer service to fire department clients

• Clean, maintain, and repair complex breathing apparatus and compressor systems

• Service and repair hydraulic extrication tools

• Arrange appointments and meet with customers to discuss their needs, products, and service requirements

• Organize and conduct in-person presentations for customers

• Design and execute demonstrations or presentations of the company’s products and services

• Share product and service information with clients

• Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities for products and services

• Keep informed about the latest products, procedures, services, and tools

• Travel frequently and for extended durations

• Work long hours as necessary

• Prepare and file monthly expense and mileage reports

• Carry out additional duties as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Southeastern California and Western Arizona

• Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend mechanical and electrical schematic diagrams

• Basic understanding of electrical theory

• Mechanically adept and technically skilled

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Excel, and Word

• Able to safely lift and operate equipment weighing up to 75 lbs

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience in a sales or marketing-related role

• Strong interpersonal skills for customer interactions

• Solid work ethic

• Excellent attention to detail

• Proven ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats

• Exhibited good judgment and a high level of integrity

• Maintain an outstanding driving record that fulfills the requirements set by the insurance provider
