Sample Collector, Phlebotomist – Ad Hoc

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Attend pre-scheduled appointments at various locations, typically within a 2-hour radius of your home address.

• Deliver professional services for hair, nail, blood, and DNA sample collection.

• Collect additional sample types as per the Lextox product range.

• Build and nurture relationships with clients and donors.

• Implement company Quality Management System protocols and assist in maintaining ISO17025 accreditation.

• Ensure that collections are performed safely in accordance with established operating procedures.

• Provide statements to support legal proceedings at the time of sample collection.

• Complete all required company training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professionally qualified Phlebotomist.

• Recent experience in various venepuncture techniques, primarily utilizing vacutainer and butterfly methods.

• Capability to collect samples in non-clinical environments.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Personal access to a vehicle with business insurance.

• At least 2 years of experience in Phlebotomy following qualification.

• Subject to regular enhanced DBS checks.

• Hepatitis B vaccination is mandatory.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Experience within the NHS / Blood Service is advantageous.

• Experience in collecting hair and DNA samples is a plus.
