Service & Installation Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the assigned service workload, which includes reaching out to customers, scheduling service appointments, and planning efficient daily routes.

• Record completed tasks, observations, parts utilized, and any additional repairs or follow-up actions required.

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair walk-in tubs and related products within customers’ residences.

• Identify mechanical, plumbing, and product-related issues, determining the necessary repairs.

• Manage vehicle inventory and truck stock; track parts used and organize the return of unused, defective, or replaced items.

• Communicate effectively with customers, ensuring a professional customer experience.

• Instruct customers on the proper operation, usage, and maintenance of Safe Step products.

• Recognize recurring product or installation issues and report findings to management.

• Execute installation, service, repair, and maintenance tasks as assigned.

• Achieve 5-star reviews for the customer’s Safe Step service experience.

• Fulfill driver responsibilities and adhere to company vehicle and safe-driving policies.

• Utilize vehicle cameras and telematics to monitor driving and safety metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in performing technical repairs, troubleshooting equipment, and addressing mechanical, plumbing, or residential service-related issues.

• Strong technical repair, diagnostic, and troubleshooting capabilities.

• A valid state-issued license is mandatory.

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• A high commitment to quality assurance and customer service.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to work independently.
