SEO Content Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and refine SEO-optimized content focused on design topics tailored for Brazilian audiences.

• Keep an updated editorial calendar and publishing plan for blog articles and landing pages.

• Publish content adhering to SEO best practices and maintaining Canva's localized tone of voice.

• Monitor and update landing pages to enhance credibility and user engagement.

• Work closely with the Brazil SEO team on keyword analysis, competitor research, and content strategy development.

• Investigate new content discovery platforms, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews.

• Assist Canva's global SEO team in helping users around the world discover Canva.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a native or near-native speaker of Portuguese.

• Proficient in business-level English.

• Demonstrated experience in SEO content writing or content marketing.

• A portfolio showcasing previous work in SEO content writing or content marketing.

• Familiarity with using a Content Management System (CMS).

• Solid understanding of SEO principles, including keyword optimization, content structure, and user intent.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Capable of managing time effectively across multiple tasks.

• Inquisitive about evolving search and content discovery techniques.

• Openness to experimentation.

• Ability to foster relationships and offer constructive feedback.
