This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria, +5 more states.
• Facilitate proof-of-value initiatives, proofs of concept, technical demonstrations, and presales implementations for clients, partners, and trade shows.
• Convert intricate customer needs and cybersecurity challenges into architectural and solution recommendations.
• Contribute to tenders, RFQs, and client-facing proposal processes while providing technical leadership in conjunction with sales and presales teams.
• Align proposals and solution concepts with BSIG, NIS2, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, cloud-native security frameworks, and zero-trust architectures.
• Provide guidance on the design and implementation of Critical Event Management platforms.
• Assist in the integration of the solution portfolio into SIEM, SOC, EDR/XDR, CNAPP, CSPM, identity security, and zero-trust architectures.
• Deliver presentations on products, solutions, roadmaps, cybersecurity strategies, and value propositions to C-level executives, technical stakeholders, and operational teams.
• Lead, support, and mentor cybersecurity analysts and engineers.
• Educate international sales teams on cybersecurity trends, threat landscapes, frameworks, and competitive positioning.
• Promote collaboration between presales, product management, research & development, and operations.
• Establish best practices for secure operational processes, secret management, and the safeguarding of infrastructures, services, and customer data.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and functionality of demo platforms, as well as presales testing and training environments.
• Manage and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Support integrations, event-driven components, and cloud-native services.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field — or a minimum of ten years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity consulting, managed services, SOC operations, infrastructure security, and cloud security.
• Practical experience with EDR/XDR platforms such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, or Trend Micro.
• Familiarity with SIEM/SOC technologies and contemporary detection engineering methodologies.
• Strong understanding of at least one of the standards/frameworks NIS2, NIST 800-53, or ISO 27001 relevant to critical infrastructure (KRITIS) environments, including physical resilience (KRITIS umbrella law).
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Acquainted with Linux systems.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in distributed production systems, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms such as Kafka or similar technologies.
• Proficient in operating and monitoring complex environments utilizing Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or comparable tools.
