This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +6 more countries.
• Take ownership of HCM and Compensation setup for Workday HCM, Advanced Compensation, and Security, encompassing core HR, organizational structures, business processes, as well as bonus, merit, and promotion cycles, and compensation statements.
• Lead configuration initiatives for Workday, including the rollout of new modules, upgrades, and the adoption of features aligned with biannual releases.
• Monitor the system's health, performance, and security to guarantee optimal functionality and adherence to compliance standards.
• Manage security groups, roles, and permissions within Workday, enforcing access controls, least privilege principles, segregation of duties, and audit obligations.
• Identify and implement enhancements to processes and automation opportunities while conducting gap analyses.
• Address configuration challenges and data inconsistencies through root-cause analysis and the implementation of lasting corrective measures.
• Create, maintain, and optimize reports and calculated fields in Workday, ensuring data integrity.
• Ensure compliance of the system with regulations, company policies, and audit standards.
• Mentor junior administrators and provide training for People Partners, Finance, and other end users.
• Facilitate communication between People Strategy & Culture, Finance, IT, Payroll, and other departments.
• Assist integration teams with functional requirements related to data feeds.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address requested changes and identify system configurations.

• Ability to prioritize customer needs and requirements to devise effective solutions.

• A minimum of 5 years of practical Workday configuration experience on a live tenant.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in deploying Workday modules.
• Profound functional expertise in Workday HCM, Advanced Compensation, and Security.
• Strong configuration experience in additional modules such as Recruiting, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and Performance.
• In-depth understanding of Workday's architecture, business processes, security models, and reporting tools.
• Proficient in creating and maintaining Workday calculated fields, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), and advanced reporting.
• Experience with Workday configuration projects, system upgrades, and change management during biannual releases.
