Senior Information Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Engage in threat modeling activities alongside engineering team members for application and AI-driven frameworks.

• Evaluate SCA, SAST, DAST, and CSPM findings by removing false positives and supplying validated vulnerabilities to engineering teams.

• Assist in vulnerability management initiatives for networks and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure prompt remediation of security issues.

• Conduct security assessments, reviews, and internal penetration tests.

• Contribute to application security programs and initiatives led by the security team.

• Create scripts and tools to automate recurring security tasks, such as log analysis, patch management, and incident detection.

• Develop custom solutions that integrate security tools with existing systems using Python, JavaScript, or Go.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in application security, encompassing any combination of threat modeling, secure design reviews, code reviews, and penetration testing.

• Exceptional communication skills and a strong sense of business acumen.

• Proficient in coding/scripting languages such as Python and Go.

• Experience in web application penetration testing, including CTFs or bug bounty programs.

• Knowledge and experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) security and engineering.

• Background in developing or testing web application technologies.

• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, Terraform, and programming against REST APIs.
