Senior Web3 Security Software Engineer – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Engage in the architectural design, development, and optimization of backend systems within Binance’s Web3 security sector, ensuring optimal performance, availability, reliability, and scalability.

• Oversee the maintenance, migration, and upgrading of existing backend and security service systems to perpetually enhance service quality and system stability.

• Conceive and implement new services and technical solutions, collaborating closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to convert business and security needs into actionable technical plans.

• Partner with specialist and operations teams to enhance security systems, automated tools, and threat detection capabilities, thereby improving operational efficiency and automation.

• Collaborate with analysts and data teams on data collection, cleaning, modeling, and analysis to bolster security-related use cases.

• Take part in the design and implementation of backend and big data workflows tailored for Web3 security and security control scenarios.

• Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including global teams, to ensure seamless project execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of backend development experience, ideally in blockchain, Web3 security, anti-fraud, risk control, or similar fields.

• Extensive experience in designing and delivering intricate backend systems in large-scale, high-concurrency, or data-heavy environments.

• Proficient in the Java technology stack, particularly Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and associated frameworks.

• In-depth knowledge of MySQL and common NoSQL databases, with hands-on experience in backend service development and optimization.

• Familiarity with distributed systems design and middleware technologies, such as distributed caching, message queues (e.g., Kafka), service discovery, and configuration management.

• Practical experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, HBase, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, or Elasticsearch.

• Background in data-related development, encompassing data collection, cleaning, and real-time/batch processing.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, proactive learning mindset, and a genuine interest in Web3 security challenges.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
