Senior Video Editor – Motion & Narrative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Field, assess, and transform incoming requests from marketing, business development, and executive teams into structured visual execution plans.

• Conceptualize, design, and animate motion graphics for digital products, marketing materials, social media, and corporate communications.

• Analyze project briefs and the underlying content to create clear and logically coherent visual narratives.

• Oversee projects from the initial concept and rough visual sketches through to motion execution, sound pairing, and final file export.

• Adhere to established brand guidelines, typography systems, visual frameworks, and color palettes.

• Clearly communicate design rationale, project updates, and creative concepts in written and asynchronous video formats.

• Balance incoming requests while undertaking proactive conceptual work.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define how stories are visually represented.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Motion Graphics Designer or Editor.

• Strong expertise in Adobe Suite, particularly After Effects.

• A proven portfolio showcasing mastery in motion design, visual rhythm, timing, typography, and the ability to visually communicate complex ideas.

• Capability to independently generate motion concepts from loose briefs or raw ideas with minimal daily oversight.

• Proficiency in managing fast-paced deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfort in collaborating directly with internal stakeholders in a remote, asynchronous environment.

• Willingness to attend recurring weekly team syncs and occasional ad-hoc project meetings, regardless of local time zone.

• A successful background check is mandatory as a condition of employment.
