Senior UX Designer – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create innovative agentic and user experience (UX) designs for RRA, RaaS, and Executive Search.

• Develop agent artifacts and experiences, focusing on the shaping, presentation, and interaction of multi-agent outputs.

• Generate and implement initial customer prototypes for exploratory Executive Search projects.

• Design user workflows and UX for RRA SaaS applications.

• Commit to polishing UX code PRs for front-end enhancements, excluding back-end code and API contracts.

• Enhance workflows and interactions for AI-driven recruiting solutions.

• Create and launch new agentic patterns that define user interactions with AI agents, including direction, review, and collaboration.

• Assist in establishing an AI-native team process utilizing AI tools.

• Collaborate daily with Product and Engineering teams.

• Involve customers early through prototyping efforts, support deal closures, and guide designs through the production phase.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in designing and delivering digital products, with a portfolio showcasing live, deployed experiences (not merely concepts or mock-ups).

• Proven ability to transition swiftly from concept to prototype in uncertain, early-stage environments.

• Preferred experience in 0-to-1 or exploratory product development, ideally within SaaS or B2B sectors.

• Preferred comfort in collaborating directly within an engineering codebase and workflow (Git, PRs, design QA).

• A portfolio and demonstrated capability are prioritized over formal qualifications.

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Strong fundamentals in UX and interaction design, including user journey mapping, information architecture, and simplifying complex workflows into intuitive designs.

• Proven experience with design systems, focusing on building and consistently applying reusable components across various platforms.

• Hands-on proficiency in front-end development: capable of committing polish-level PRs in a modern tech stack (React/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, component libraries), including considerations for responsive design, empty/loading/error states, motion, and accessibility.

• Ability to take projects from concept to design to functional prototype, leveraging existing services and APIs instead of creating new ones.

• Preferred background in designing for AI-native or agentic products, including agent artifacts, streaming outputs, chat/canvas interfaces, human-in-the-loop review processes, and non-deterministic states.
