Senior UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute research and validation initiatives, which include interviews, usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and competitive assessments.

• Transform insights into practical UX recommendations.

• Champion user needs and promote evidence-based choices throughout the design workflow.

• Convert user requirements, business goals, and technical limitations into user journeys, information architecture, screen flows, wireframes, and prototypes.

• Create interaction patterns that enhance usability, accessibility, findability, and task completion.

• Contribute to the development of scalable design systems and UX frameworks.

• Collaborate with visual designers and developers to turn UX direction into design and implementation.

• Establish the groundwork for a design system and assist in visual design documentation.

• Craft user-centered narratives and content hierarchies.

• Contribute to UX writing and interface content, such as navigation labels, calls to action, onboarding, microcopy, form guidance, and instructional materials.

• Collaborate with copywriters, content strategists, brand teams, and creative disciplines.

• Utilize and experiment with AI-enabled tools like Figma, ChatGPT, and Claude.

• Critically assess AI-generated outputs for relevance, appropriateness, and alignment with project objectives.

• Investigate emerging technologies that could enhance UX practices.

• Partner with product, strategy, technology, and client stakeholders throughout the design process.

• Clearly present UX rationale, concepts, and recommendations.

• Engage in workshops, design critiques, and collaborative work sessions.

• Provide support to junior designers through collaboration, feedback, and sharing best practices.

• Uphold high standards of UX craftsmanship, documentation, presentation quality, and client interaction.

• Independently manage significant UX activities within a workstream while collaborating with senior leads on complex projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in UX design, product design, experience design, service design, or related fields.

• A portfolio showcasing robust end-to-end UX work across web, mobile, services, or intricate digital products.

• Experience in conducting research and translating insights into journeys, interactions, content structures, and design choices.

• Strong knowledge of information architecture, user flows, interaction design, prototyping, accessibility, and usability best practices.

• Ability to create clear experience narratives through journey design, content hierarchy, and UX writing.

• Experience contributing to design systems and utilizing AI and libraries such as shadcn to enhance and scale digital experiences.

• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across strategy, design, content, and technology.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, capable of articulating UX decisions to clients and internal teams.

• Proficiency in Figma and contemporary UX design, prototyping, and collaboration tools.

• A growth mindset and a passion for making a lasting impact.

• Experience in Agile methodologies and consulting is a plus.
