This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Craft and refine user experiences across engineering platforms, enterprise technology solutions, and tools aimed at developers.
• Perform UX evaluations and offer suggestions to enhance usability, efficiency, and user adoption.
• Develop workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and experience concepts that streamline intricate technical processes.
• Conduct customer interviews, discovery sessions, journey mapping workshops, and service design activities.
• Examine Voice of Customer feedback, experience metrics, and user research findings to pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Convert customer insights into design recommendations and product upgrades.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and UX stakeholders to prioritize improvements in user experience.
• Aid in implementation through design handoff, usability testing, and teamwork with delivery teams.
• Identify usability issues, friction points, and chances to enhance end-to-end user journeys.
• Contribute to experience strategy, governance, UX best practices, and the assessment of user experience success.
• Over 5 years of experience in UX design, product design, service design, or related fields.
• Proficient in designing complex enterprise applications, engineering tools, or platform products.
• Strong skills in UX research, usability testing, and customer-centered design.
• Experience in facilitating workshops, journey mapping sessions, or service design projects.
• Capability to synthesize customer feedback and convert insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a talent for simplifying complex workflows and user experiences.
• Ability to operate independently across various products, priorities, and stakeholder groups.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capacity to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with Developer Experience (DevEx) platforms and engineering productivity tools.
• Experience in supporting cloud, infrastructure, API, security, or developer platform products.
• Background in designing AI-assisted workflows, copilots, or intelligent user experiences.
• Experience collaborating with Customer Success, Voice of Customer, or Product Operations teams.
• Understanding of NPS, customer satisfaction, adoption metrics, and experience measurement frameworks.
• Experience utilizing Mural or similar facilitation and collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of service design methodologies and customer journey frameworks.
• Interest in emerging technologies, AI-enabled development tools, and design-to-code workflows.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
• A dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, with suitable desk and seating arrangements when working from home.
