Senior UI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain reusable UI components utilizing React and contemporary frontend development methodologies.

• Design new resource pages and integrate UI features into an existing digital platform.

• Modify, migrate, and enhance legacy Liquid templates for modern frontend frameworks.

• Work with React components and server-side templating environments.

• Utilize design systems, component libraries, and frontend development tools.

• Employ AI-assisted development technologies like GitHub Copilot and Cursor.

• Revise site architecture and enhance code quality, maintainability, and scalability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert design specifications into functional interfaces.

• Navigate intricate codebases and deliver results efficiently within tight deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in frontend or UI engineering, preferably in agency or enterprise web settings.

• Strong practical experience with React and the development of reusable components.

• Direct experience with Liquid templates or analogous templating engines such as Jinja, Nunjucks, or Twig.

• Experience with legacy frontend architectures and transitioning or integrating templated pages with modern React components.

• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and current frontend development practices.

• Experience in utilizing design systems and component libraries.

• Ability to operate efficiently within complex codebases and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal onboarding.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• If the chosen candidate possesses a degree in Engineering or a related field, they are required to present their professional license.
