Senior UI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop scalable and highly interactive web applications utilizing React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Design front-end experiences on Headless CMS platforms such as Contentstack, incorporating flexible content models and reusable components.

• Leverage agentic AI workflows to accelerate component generation, refactoring, and delivery, while fostering team adoption.

• Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect code with smooth, responsive animations, ensuring optimal performance.

• Take ownership of front-end quality by delivering accessible, standards-compliant, cross-device experiences that fulfill performance objectives.

• Collaborate with UX, visual design, QA, and strategy teams to assess feasibility and refine project requirements.

• Promote engineering excellence through Spec-Driven Development, comprehensive documentation, and code reviews in an agile setting.

• Guide junior engineers, resolve complex issues, and assist global client teams with post-launch enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing large-scale web products within agile, cross-disciplinary teams.

• Profound knowledge of React, Next.js, and TypeScript, along with modern CSS and preprocessor solutions.

• Proven experience utilizing AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot in daily UI tasks.

• Familiarity with delivering WCAG-compliant interfaces.

• Experience in enhancing Core Web Vitals using tools like Lighthouse.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Advanced proficiency in English (C1+).

• If the chosen candidate has a degree in Engineering or a related field, they must provide their professional license.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with Contentstack or another headless CMS.

• Preferred: a portfolio showcasing frontend animation and motion design work.
