Senior Travel Consultant – Temporary Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately and efficiently manage incoming customer inquiries through phone, email, and various other channels.

• Act as the main contact for business clients while delivering proactive travel consultations.

• Share travel information and promote related products.

• Independently handle assigned requests and offer proactive support.

• Provide daily support to the team and address colleagues' inquiries.

• Guide team members on policies and procedures.

• Engage in project teams focused on operational improvement.

• Mentor travel consultants during the absence of the team lead.

• Utilize BCD Travel systems and tools to fulfill requests.

• Anticipate potential customer issues and assist accordingly.

• Respond promptly, ensuring customers receive dedicated attention.

• Analyze operational workflows and commercial customer interactions, proposing enhancements.

• Conduct quality management, including error oversight, and support designated projects.

• Achieve both individual and team objectives.

• Demonstrated experience in ERM, marine, offshore, or crew travel sectors.

• Practical expertise in managing crew logistics, rotations, and handling disruptions.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to perform accurately under pressure.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, 24/7 service environment.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a global, multi-regional operational framework.

• Comprehensive understanding of the travel industry, including its policies, procedures, and processes.

• Advanced proficiency in GDS Amadeus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
