Senior Travel Consultant, Marine – Amadeus

📋 Description

• Manage incoming customer inquiries promptly and accurately via phone, email, and various other channels.

• Act as the main point of contact for business clients while providing proactive travel consultation.

• Share travel information and promote related products.

• Utilize BCD Travel tools and systems to fulfill requests.

• Anticipate and address potential challenges faced by customers.

• Respond swiftly and give full attention to customer inquiries.

• Analyze operational processes and commercial relationships, recommending enhancements.

• Conduct quality management, including error handling.

• Support assigned projects related to operations.

• Achieve both individual and team objectives.

• Offer daily support to team members and guidance on policies and procedures.

• Mentor travel consultants during the team lead's absence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in ERM, marine, offshore, or crew travel sectors.

• Practical knowledge of managing crew movements, rotations, and disruptions.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the capacity to work accurately under pressure.

• Comfortable in a dynamic, 24/7 service environment.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a global, multi-regional operational framework.

• Comprehensive understanding of the travel industry, including its policies, procedures, and processes.

• Advanced proficiency in GDS Amadeus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Capacity to manage multiple priorities at the same time.

• Outstanding customer service and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to work day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.

• Full-time availability required.
