Senior Transaction Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive real estate transaction processes for intricate or prominent property portfolios.

• Lead and manage real estate transactions from inception to completion.

• Handle lease renewals, new site acquisitions, and the disposal of surplus space through subleasing, sales, and alternative transaction methods.

• Coordinate internal and external resources as well as stakeholders.

• Conduct complex site selection, financial analysis, contract negotiations, zoning, entitlements, and site development.

• Simultaneously manage multiple projects, tasks, and stakeholders.

• Integrate clients’ business objectives, market insights, and challenges into transaction management.

• Create project initiation forms, market comparable analyses, Broker Opinions of Value, Requests for Proposals, location comparison packages, and letters of intent.

• Evaluate NPV, cash flow forecasts, and IRR to provide guidance to clients.

• Develop, recommend, and execute transaction strategies on a portfolio-wide basis.

• Encourage proactive engagement and craft innovative options for clients.

• Engage with senior client stakeholders across various functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required global experience.

• An active Real Estate License in the state of Illinois is mandatory.

• Proficient writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.

• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.

• Strong interpersonal abilities with experience in cross-functional team collaboration.

• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Preferred familiarity with Smartsheet and other project/workflow management tools.

• Capability to work across multiple time zones for global projects.

• An Associate/Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in real estate transactions.

• At least 5 years of portfolio management experience is necessary.

• Required experience in industrial and office real estate.

• Retail experience is preferred.

• Background in real estate development, business, finance, and strategy is crucial.

• Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders across Finance, IT, Procurement, HR, Construction, Legal, and Tax is essential.
