Automation and Consulting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the team focused on automation and consulting engineering.

• Promote technical excellence and facilitate cross-functional collaboration in product development and sales.

• Manage advanced power system modeling, simulation, and controller tuning utilizing PSS/E, PSLF, PowerFactory, PSCAD, and MATLAB/Simulink to comply with grid codes.

• Collaborate with business development to enhance market share for solar, storage, and grid stabilization products.

• Direct equipment design, performance studies, commissioning, and failure mode analysis for transmission and distribution products.

• Engage in working groups related to industry standards.

• Lead the development of innovative engineering methods.

• Support initiatives related to renewable generation, battery energy storage systems, synchronous condensers, STATCOM, and industrial drives.

• Propel growth across North America, Latin America, and Europe.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• At least 10 years of experience in power system engineering and power electronics modeling.

• Proficiency in PSCAD, PSS/E, PSLF, PowerFactory, and MATLAB/Simulink.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience with Python programming.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.

• Preferred: Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related scientific discipline.

• Preferred: Published works in IEEE or CIGRE working groups.

• Preferred: Patents awarded in high-voltage power equipment.
