This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the senior leader for key sports and entertainment partnerships, establishing and adjusting pricing strategies.
• Oversee the health of commercial relationships, renewal strategies, escalations, and engagement with partner leadership.
• Adjust pricing throughout the event lifecycle based on sell-through, price realization, and spoilage objectives.
• Make decisions regarding inventory holds, releases, channel distribution, and the timing for working down positions.
• Manage partner relationships through regular reporting, strategic check-ins, and market discussions.
• Guide junior traders and evaluate pricing efforts on high-stakes events.
• Respond to partner inquiries regarding marketplace behavior, demand drivers, and projections for seasons or events.
• Transform one-off research requests into consistent outputs for the team.
• Identify opportunities for service, automation, AI tools, and pricing intelligence; lead pilot projects and product development.
• Evaluate post-event pricing results and apply insights to future cycles.
• Travel for partner visits, business reviews, live events, conferences, and offsites, which may include evenings and weekends.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, statistics, sports management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in ticket pricing, revenue management, trading, or a similar analytical commercial role, including at least 2 years managing client or partner relationships, ideally in sports, live entertainment, or another dynamic pricing industry.
• Strong knowledge of sports, including how standings, schedules, rivalries, star players, and playoff races influence demand.
• Solid understanding of live entertainment, recognizing how touring, on-sales, and routing affect demand.
• Extensive experience in ticket pricing, revenue management, trading, or a comparable analytical commercial role, with accountability for pricing decisions involving real money.
• Proven track record as the senior owner of a significant commercial relationship.
• Experience managing accountability during challenging partnership situations.
• Background in mentoring, reviewing work, or establishing operating standards.
• Proficient with sell-through, price realization, ATP, GTV, and inventory aging metrics.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and BI tools, including analyzing and questioning data you did not generate.
• Demonstrated ability to convert a one-time analysis into a reusable resource.
• Preferred: Experience on the rights-holder side or in the secondary marketplace, commercial deal structuring, and familiarity with data analytics concepts and workflows.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the year or more, including partner site visits, business reviews, live events, conferences, and team offsites.
