This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Promote authorized indications of BMS products within a specified territory or region to achieve or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
• Generate demand for BMS medicines by delivering a balanced clinical and scientific rationale for their use in suitable patients.
• Maintain and enhance scientific knowledge related to assigned products and therapeutic areas.
• Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans.
• Utilize SOPHIA and other tools to extract insights and guide call strategies.
• Accurately present approved scientific resources and publications to healthcare providers.
• Conduct in-office presentations and discuss product-related scientific information in accordance with product labeling.
• Organize external speaker programs, including the selection of speakers, scheduling, and logistics.
• Stay informed about emerging data regarding approved indications.
• Collaborate with Medical on Call for unsolicited inquiries and complex technical questions.
• Work together with other field teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Collect and share pertinent customer insights internally.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
• Travel to meet external customers and participate in meetings as directed.
• Advanced scientific degree and/or over 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry in roles such as healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
• Ability to effectively communicate scientific or clinical data to physicians in a clear and convincing manner.
• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining credibility with key customers, office staff, and customer influence networks.
• Preference for candidates with cardiovascular experience.
• Demonstrated strong account management capabilities.
• Exceptional selling skills with a history of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Capability to work efficiently across various functions.
• Strong promotional skills combined with a performance-oriented track record.
• Aptitude for driving business results and building customer credibility.
• Understanding of the patient journey with the ability to tailor engagement and messaging accordingly.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A strong learning orientation and a passion for science.
• Proficient in analyzing prescribing patterns, market trends, HCP preferences, and clinical data.
• Capability to segment HCPs based on preferences and relevant factors.
• Proficient in using CE^3 for insights and dynamic call planning.
• Digital communication and technology skills, including proficiency in email, instant messaging, and video conferencing.
• Competency in using CE^3 and CRM tools for the collection, entry, and management of compliant data.
• Ability to utilize Medical on Call technology effectively.
• Business acumen for analyzing market drivers and developing, executing, and adjusting business plans.
• High integrity and sound judgment.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing from the state of residence.
