This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Drive demand for BMS cardiovascular medications for suitable patients.

• Engage healthcare professionals through unique customer experiences and scientific discussions aligned with product labeling.

• Establish and maintain professional credibility with regional thought leaders, community physicians, healthcare providers, office staff, and other stakeholders in patient care.

• Collaborate with other BMS departments to provide timely, scientific support to customers.

• Promote approved BMS product indications within a designated territory and achieve or surpass sales targets in a compliant manner.

• Articulate the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patient populations.

• Sustain and enhance scientific knowledge across assigned products and therapeutic areas.

• Develop and execute detailed territory and account plans.

• Utilize SOPHIA and CE^3 to extract insights, inform call strategies, and foster dynamic customer engagement.

• Provide feedback on tools to leadership for ongoing improvement.

• Conduct in-office presentations, including lunch-and-learn sessions, and communicate label-consistent scientific information.

• Organize external speaker programs, overseeing speaker selection, scheduling, and logistics.

• Stay informed on emerging data related to approved indications.

• Use Medical on Call for unsolicited inquiries and complex technical questions.

• Collaborate with field teams and share customer insights internally.

• Adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and BMS policies.

• Spend a significant amount of time in the field interacting with external customers.


⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology fields in roles such as healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.

• Proven ability to convey scientific or clinical data accurately and persuasively.

• Experience in establishing and maintaining credibility with key customers, office staff, and customer influence networks.

• Preferred background in cardiovascular medicine.

• Strong skills in account management.

• Exceptional selling abilities and a proven track record of sales performance.

• Capability to work effectively across various functions.

• Strong selling and promotional skills.

• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to drive business outcomes.

• Experience in identifying, engaging, and building credibility with customers throughout the patient care journey.

• Understanding of the patient journey with the ability to tailor engagement and deliver customized messages.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Strong commitment to learning and a passion for science.

• Ability to analyze prescribing patterns, market trends, HCP preferences, and clinical data.

• Skill in segmenting HCPs and interpreting product and customer data.

• Proficient in using CE^3 for insights and dynamic call planning.

• Competent in digital communication and technology.

• Experienced in using CE^3 and CRM/software tools for compliant data collection, entry, and management.

• Ability to utilize Medical on Call technology.

• Strong business acumen and adaptability in learning.

• High integrity and sound judgment.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing issued by the state of residence.

• Must meet the company’s acceptable driving-risk standards.
