Senior Automation QA Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design and enhancement of automation testing strategies.

• Create and sustain automation frameworks for API, UI, and LLM validation.

• Ensure the automation code is scalable, maintainable, and reusable.

• Develop automated API tests using Python and the Requests library.

• Establish and maintain UI tests with Playwright.

• Integrate automated tests with Postman collections when applicable.

• Conduct performance, regression, and functional testing.

• Incorporate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to oversee and scale test environments.

• Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to enhance the QA process.

• Draft test plans, strategies, and design documentation.

• Monitor issues using Jira and manage test cases effectively.

• Analyze logs, investigate failures, and troubleshoot in both staging and production environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in test automation or a similar QA position.

• Proficient programming skills in Python.

• Extensive experience in API automation using the Requests library and UI automation with Playwright.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, preferably Jenkins.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for managing test environments.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.

• Proficient in using Jira for issue tracking and reporting.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluency in Ukrainian.

• Experience with Kafka is a plus.

• Knowledge of Xray for test management is advantageous.

• Understanding of AWS cloud services is a plus.
