Senior Test Engineer – T24, Mortgage/Lending

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement test plans, scenarios, and cases for banking applications.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Test and validate core banking modules of Temenos T24, with a focus on mortgage and lending products as applicable.

• Confirm end-to-end banking workflows, business processes, and system integrations across various applications.

• Conduct API testing and validate backend data.

• Assess BPMN/workflow-based processes to ensure smooth execution of workflows.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to convert business requirements into test scenarios.

• Identify, log, track, and verify software defects until resolution using defect management tools.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps initiatives through ongoing testing activities.

• Partner with development teams to enhance product quality and minimize production defects.

• Generate test execution reports and quality metrics, and provide updates to project stakeholders.

• Assist with production releases and carry out post-deployment validation as necessary.

• Ensure adherence to organizational quality standards and banking regulatory requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in software testing, including functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.

• Preferred knowledge of banking products and processes.

• Experience in the banking or financial services sector.

• Practical exposure to the Temenos T24 core banking platform; mortgage/lending experience is preferred.

• Desirable hands-on testing experience with mortgage/lending products and government housing or subsidy schemes of the SZHP type.

• Experience in testing BPMN/workflow management systems and system integrations in a core-banking environment.

• Proven experience working in Agile and DevOps settings.

• Familiarity with API testing and data validation.
