Senior Test Automation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Formulate test strategies, plans, cases, scenarios, and documentation.

• Build, improve, and sustain test automation frameworks.

• Create automated UI, API, and integrated workflow tests utilizing Robot Framework and Python.

• Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, integration, end-to-end (E2E), and non-functional testing.

• Automate testing processes for both frontend (Web) and backend applications (REST/SOAP APIs and microservices).

• Validate APIs using Postman, Insomnia, or equivalent tools.

• Implement best practices for organization, reusability, parameterization, and report generation.

• Utilize Git for code version control.

• Leverage Azure DevOps for backlog management, planning, traceability, and test execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.

• Demonstrated expertise in test automation, including the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of automation frameworks.

• High-level proficiency in Robot Framework and Python for the development of automated UI, API, and integrated workflow tests.

• Familiarity with functional, regression, exploratory, integration, end-to-end (E2E), and non-functional testing using both manual and automated methods.

• Background in automating frontend (Web) and backend testing (REST/SOAP APIs and microservices).

• Experience in validating APIs using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or similar platforms.

• Understanding of best practices for automated testing, encompassing code organization, component reusability, parameterization, and report generation.

• Proficient in code version control using Git.

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for backlog management, planning, traceability, and test execution.

• Preferred: familiarity with additional automation tools, such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or related technologies.

• Preferred: experience in integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.

• Preferred: background with code quality and static analysis tools.

• Preferred: understanding of containers and virtualized environments (Docker).

• Preferred: experience with performance testing using JMeter, k6, or comparable tools.

• Preferred: experience in usability (UX) and accessibility testing.
