Senior Territory Manager, Eyecare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, marketing objectives, and related targets.

• Develop pre-call strategies using SMART criteria and perform post-call assessments to enhance sales effectiveness.

• Address objections, clarify misunderstandings, and resolve concerns, leading to logical calls to action that secure sales.

• Attend to customer needs, expectations, and challenges to foster trustworthy relationships and reach mutually beneficial agreements.

• Create and implement call strategies that meet call metrics and optimize frequency and coverage for key clients.

• Cultivate a deep understanding of customer needs, market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales processes.

• Communicate market insights with the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager.

• Highlight AbbVie’s unique value proposition to assigned healthcare providers.

• Identify, nurture, and establish relationships with disease-state experts and advocates to enhance brand effectiveness.


⛳️ Requirements

• Any governmental and/or legal mandatory certification requirements as stipulated by respective country’s laws and/or regulations (if applicable).

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.

• Demonstrated success in sales with strong presentation abilities.

• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.

• Strong business insight and adeptness with business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Ability to recognize customer behavior/styles and swiftly adapt all selling approaches accordingly.

• Effectively function in a matrix environment.

• Preferred proven success in sales performance within relevant therapeutic areas.

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical sector, such as physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing is preferred.

• Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written, preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
