Senior Telecom Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage, configure, and support essential security and telecommunications systems, utilizing platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, and similar technologies.

• Develop, sustain, and improve information security measures, including NGFW firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs, antivirus, antispam, web filtering, and additional protective controls.

• Oversee and troubleshoot TCP/IP network settings, encompassing Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols, routing, switching, and high availability.

• Conduct both physical and logical configuration of network devices, which includes IP addressing, subnets and masks, gateways, VLANs, static and dynamic routing, NAT, security policies, and network architectures.

• Actively monitor systems, assess logs, resolve issues, detect security incidents, and implement corrective and preventive measures.

• Manage and keep current technical documentation, network diagrams, asset inventories, communication processes, and operating procedures.

• Implement changes in production settings in alignment with IT governance, incident, problem, and change management protocols, ensuring compliance with established SLAs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with NGFW firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, or similar).

• Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, STP, VLAN, VRRP, DHCP, DNS, and NAT).

• Familiarity with Site-to-Site VPN and Client VPN technologies (IPSec and SSL VPN).

• Experience in high-availability (HA) environments.

• Proficient in monitoring and log analysis tools.

• Skilled in advanced network and security troubleshooting.

• Background in data center environments and critical infrastructure.

• Understanding of ITIL and IT governance processes.

• Preferred certifications include: Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, Fortinet NSE/FCP, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, Cisco CCNP Enterprise or Security.

• Knowledge of Palo Alto Panorama.

• Experience with WAF.

• Familiarity with SIEM solutions (Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel).

• Understanding of Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
