Senior Technology Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Facilitate and coordinate daily technology operations across designated platforms, infrastructure, systems, and networks.

• Administer and support hardware, software, databases, and end-user technologies.

• Identify issues and trends for senior team members.

• Provide assistance and training to junior support team members.

• Oversee workflows, resolve issues, and ensure production stability.

• Convey operational challenges, task requirements, service impacts, and resolution timelines to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Review job specifications and documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with standards.

• Supervise and monitor batch workflow execution utilizing CA Workload Automation (ESP).

• Conduct troubleshooting through log analysis in Mainframe, Linux, and Windows environments.

• Perform operational tasks and automation within mainframe systems, including OPS/MVS.

• Manage deployments and version control through ChangeMan.

• Support operations in high-availability and disaster recovery settings.

• Utilize ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms to handle incidents, changes, and operational tickets.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma required.

• At least 4 years of experience in technology operations or related technical support roles.

• Proficient understanding of IT infrastructure components, including hardware, software, and networks.

• Familiarity with standard operating procedures and compliance regulations in technology environments.

• Fluency in English is mandatory.

• Preferred: 5+ years in scheduling, workload automation, or operations intake.

• Preferred: Expertise with CA Workload Automation (ESP).

• Preferred: Strong background in mainframe operations, including OPS/MVS automation.

• Preferred: Command-line proficiency in Mainframe, Linux, or Windows environments.

• Preferred: Proven ability to troubleshoot using logs and workflow analysis.

• Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.

• Preferred: Practical experience with ChangeMan.

• Preferred: Experience in resilient, high-availability, or disaster recovery environments.
