Escrow Servicing Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Manage escrow servicing activities throughout the loan lifecycle, from the acquisition phase to ongoing servicing and transfers.

• Oversee service delivery, productivity, and quality standards related to tax, insurance, and insurance claims.

• Accurately and promptly process escrow-related documents and disbursements.

• Investigate exceptions and handle off-cycle requests.

• Carry out general maintenance of escrow accounts and perform escrow analyses.

• Research and address internal customer inquiries and requests.

• Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory and legal standards, including investor and state regulations.

• Process and oversee departmental reporting requirements and workflows.

• Keep accurate records of escrow disbursements.

• Execute quality reviews of insurance and tax documentation, verifying information from tax assessors and other relevant sources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a mortgage setting, ideally in Mortgage Loan Servicing.

• Basic skills in mathematical calculations.

• Familiarity with relevant regulatory and legal standards, including investor and state guidelines.

• Capability to efficiently and accurately process escrow-related documents, disbursements, reports, and assigned tasks.
