Senior Technical Trainer – Machine Learning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver machine learning courses for engineers, covering everything from foundational concepts to training their own models.

• Collaborate with the curriculum team to shape course structure, including sections, lessons, labs, and notebooks.

• Create lab specifications for the dedicated labs team and thoroughly test the completed labs.

• Write and narrate engaging, story-driven video lessons lasting around six minutes each.

• Record demonstrations and walkthroughs for lab solutions.

• Incorporate structured editorial feedback, especially on the introductory section.

• Engage in regular collaboration through weekly syncs, Slack communications, and time-zone overlap with a team based in Europe/Asia.

• Prioritize teaching while the production team manages video editing, animation, lab infrastructure, and publishing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong practical foundation in machine learning.

• Proven experience in training, evaluating, and deploying models using scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.

• Capability to clearly articulate the principles of machine learning to engineers who are new to the field.

• Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Ability to communicate in clear, natural, and easily understandable English, along with confidence on camera.

• A genuine passion for teaching, evidenced by courses, tutorials, talks, workshops, or mentoring activities.

• Up-to-date knowledge of the machine learning landscape and a commitment to continuous learning.

• Willingness to adhere to an established teaching methodology and accept editorial feedback.

• Nice to have: experience with published online courses, authorship of a book, or teaching experience at a university or bootcamp.

• Nice to have: familiarity with fine-tuning, MLOps, or deploying models in a production environment.

• Nice to have: cloud ML certifications such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Databricks.
