Senior Technical Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Deliver business insights to existing clients while identifying and cultivating new opportunities.

• Implement customer account strategies.

• Work collaboratively with the client’s management team.

• Effectively communicate with Corbion’s key account team.

• Support Corbion's RDA in testing and the development of new technologies.

• Participate in internal customer teams to discuss risks and opportunities.

• Increase sales by testing and showcasing Corbion products.

• Assess procedures and processes at client facilities to offer technical solutions to current issues.

• Engage in plant start-ups, which may involve two weeks of continuous travel.

• Create and conduct seminars and training sessions for both internal staff and clients.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• AIB Graduate and/or over 10 years of experience in the baking industry is preferred.

• Extensive background in large wholesale baking with management experience in operations.

• Profound understanding of ingredient functionality, formulation, fully automated baking processes, and equipment operation.

• Strong knowledge of formulation with the capability to develop a formula from the ground up.

• Ability to initiate projects from conception through product development, R&D testing in Corbion labs, and implementation via plant trials.

• Proven success in collaborating with various internal teams and clients.

• Exceptional skills in process problem-solving and troubleshooting.

• Experience in creating and delivering seminars and training programs for internal staff and clients.

• Self-driven with outstanding written, electronic, and verbal communication abilities.

• Willingness to travel extensively, with 75% domestic travel and occasional international travel.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
