Senior Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete deployment of cloud-based platforms, including system configuration, testing, and support during go-live.

• Work collaboratively with customers, partners, and internal teams to develop scalable, secure, and resilient IT solutions for public safety.

• Develop and maintain project and technical implementation plans, addressing infrastructure readiness, data flows, and failover testing.

• Coordinate with DevOps, R&D, and Solution Architects to ensure product capabilities align with deployment requirements.

• Manage stakeholder expectations, proactively resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

• Facilitate the transition of systems to customer IT teams and lead onboarding and training when necessary.

• Identify ongoing support needs post-deployment and explore optimization opportunities for additional services.

• Act as the primary technical liaison among Axon 911, partners, customers, engineering, product, implementation teams, and public safety stakeholders.

• Supervise projects from initiation to go-live for critical cloud and IT deployments that support emergency communications.

⛳️ Requirements

• PMP or CAPM certification is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing global technical projects, ideally within a B2B SaaS, IT, or cloud services environment.

• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams through implementations of cloud or hybrid infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking concepts, and cloud deployment models such as AWS, Azure, etc.

• Capability to translate customer requirements into actionable technical plans.

• Confidence in engaging with both technical and executive stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 20% or more to support project execution and ensure client success.

• Experience with ESInet and NG911 i3-compliant technologies is a plus.

• Familiarity with systems utilized by PSAPs or other emergency services is advantageous.

• Hands-on experience managing projects that involve cloud-native architectures or real-time communication platforms is beneficial.

• Proven ability in utilizing AI tools, cross-platform integrations, and innovative technologies is a plus.
