Senior Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive deployment of cloud-based platforms, encompassing system configuration, testing, and support during go-live phases.

• Work collaboratively with clients, partners, and internal teams to develop scalable, secure, and resilient IT solutions tailored for public safety.

• Develop and manage project and technical implementation plans, which include infrastructure preparedness, data flows, and failover testing.

• Coordinate with DevOps, R&D, and Solution Architects to ensure product capabilities are aligned with deployment needs.

• Manage stakeholder expectations, proactively address issues, and guarantee the achievement of project milestones.

• Lead system transitions to customer IT teams and conduct onboarding and training as necessary.

• Identify post-deployment support requirements and opportunities for optimization of additional services.

• Act as the primary technical contact among Axon 911, partners, customers, engineering, product, implementation teams, and public safety stakeholders.

• Define technical requirements, spearhead cloud deployments and system integrations, and ensure smooth production transitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• PMP or CAPM certification is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing global technical projects, ideally in a B2B SaaS, IT, or cloud services environment.

• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams through cloud or hybrid infrastructure implementations.

• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking principles, and cloud deployment models (such as AWS, Azure, etc.).

• Capability to convert customer requirements into actionable technical strategies.

• Strong confidence in engaging with both technical and executive stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 20% or more.

• Experience with ESInet and NG911 i3-compliant technologies is a plus.

• Familiarity with systems utilized by PSAPs or other emergency services is advantageous.

• Practical experience with cloud-native architectures or real-time communication platforms is desirable.

• Proven ability to utilize AI tools, cross-platform integrations, and innovative technologies is a plus.

• Candidates must currently reside in the United States.
