Senior Technical Project Manager – Application Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage the Application Migration workstream.

• Create and monitor migration plans, phases, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and readiness criteria.

• Facilitate technical assessments and identify dependencies across applications, infrastructure, databases, integrations, networking, security, and identity.

• Collaborate closely with teams in Application Development, Cloud, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, DevOps, Database, Networking, and Architecture.

• Oversee migration execution, cutover, validation, and post-migration stabilization.

• Ensure that Application Security and DevSecOps requirements are integrated throughout the migration process.

• Manage risks, obstacles, and cross-application dependencies effectively.

• Assist in status reporting and program governance.

• Keep migration-related documentation and trackers up to date.

• Work with international stakeholders to guarantee alignment with program goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Technical Project Management, Application Migration, Application Modernization, or Cloud Transformation.

• Background in coordinating application migrations within cloud, on-premises, and/or hybrid settings.

• Understanding of Application Architecture and dependencies associated with Infrastructure, Databases, Integrations, Networking, Identity, and Security.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.

• Experience or strong knowledge in Application Security, DevOps/DevSecOps, and CI/CD practices.

• Background in Migration Planning, Technical Readiness, Cutover, and Post-Migration Stabilization.

• Experience in Risk, Issue, and Dependency Management.

• Proven ability to work in large-scale enterprise environments.

• Strong Stakeholder Management abilities and proficiency in coordinating across various technical teams.

• Preferred: Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Wealth/Asset Management, Insurance, or other regulated sectors.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

• Preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or ITIL certifications.

• Preferred: Certifications related to Azure, AWS, DevOps, or Security.
