Senior Technical Project Manager – Enterprise Modernization, AI Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead cross-functional delivery teams comprising Forward-Deployed Engineers, Data Engineers, and AI engineering groups.

• Take ownership of the complete delivery process for multi-agent AI modernization initiatives, from initial discovery to deployment and operational transition.

• Establish pod structures, cadences, and operational rhythms across multiple customer projects.

• Anticipate technical challenges related to data structures, legacy customizations, integrations, and workflow orchestration.

• Manage parallel workstreams in areas such as data, integration, AI agent configuration, testing, and alignment of business processes.

• Coordinate activities among Tessera teams, customer stakeholders, and external vendors.

• Develop comprehensive program plans that encompass progress tracking, risk assessment, and value realization.

• Map customer value streams to identify opportunities for reducing manual tasks, shortening cycle times, and lowering costs.

• Define, monitor, and report on delivery and value metrics to executive stakeholders.

• Prioritize tasks based on business value to enhance delivery flow.

• Lead discovery workshops that explore system landscapes, business processes, data flows, and integration points.

• Translate technical trade-offs, delivery plans, and value outcomes for both executives and delivery teams.

• Facilitate alignment among enterprise architecture, IT operations, security, and business functions.

• Promote Agile delivery within enterprise change management frameworks.

• Identify risks and devise mitigation strategies for legacy systems, data, integrations, and business continuity.

• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, auditability, and operational governance standards.

• Oversee integration prerequisites across enterprise platforms and cloud environments.

• Collaborate with customer security and infrastructure teams to ensure deployment and operational readiness.

• Act as the primary delivery contact during onboarding and implementation phases.

• Manage technical escalations across teams, engineering, and product departments.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with enterprise customers.

• Travel to customer locations as necessary for workshops, solution design, and implementation oversight.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in leading technical delivery for large enterprise modernization or transformation initiatives.

• Proven experience in managing cross-functional delivery teams or pods through intricate and technically challenging implementations.

• Demonstrated ability to run multiple concurrent workstreams that have significant interdependencies.

• Experience in mapping and managing value streams, and connecting delivery work with measurable business results.

• Comfortable with defining, tracking, and reporting delivery and value metrics to executive audiences.

• Strong grasp of enterprise business systems, integrations, data flows, and challenges related to modernization.

• Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or similar systems.

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts, APIs, middleware, and cross-platform integrations.

• Ability to articulate technical concepts, system constraints, integration challenges, and data models to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.

• Strong executive presence coupled with effective stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in Agile methodologies and experienced in orchestrating complex programs with multiple dependencies.

• Background at a top-tier consulting or system integration firm, or experience leading large-scale enterprise modernization projects internally.

• Experience in delivering AI/ML-enabled initiatives, or a keen interest in LLMs, automation, and multi-agent AI orchestration.

• Familiarity with integrating ERP and other core systems with CRM, HRIS, finance, analytics, middleware, and cloud infrastructure.

• PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, value stream management, enterprise platform certifications, or related qualifications are advantageous.
