This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the account manager and main point of contact for clients driven by a mission.
• Foster trust through proactive, clear, flexible, and patient support.
• Ensure that client IT and digital security requirements are fulfilled.
• Facilitate successful client onboarding and coordinate internal teams for seamless delivery from the outset.
• Promote communication among internal teams and client stakeholders through regular check-ins and transparent written communications.
• Ensure that clients receive services within the defined scope of work.
• Identify opportunities for service growth that align with client objectives and needs.
• Analyze client requests to detect patterns and proactively suggest solutions.
• Lead and oversee complex technical client service projects from initial scoping to execution.
• Establish requirements and ensure timely and scope-compliant delivery of solutions.
• Manage project planning, timeline oversight, and coordination across both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Keep detailed records of projects, deliverables, issues, risks, dependencies, decisions, and schedules.
• Collaborate with the VP of Technical Programs, Director of Client Success, and Senior Technical Program Managers to enhance operations, efficiency, scalability, and team capacity.
• Maintain and improve internal knowledge bases, project tracking tools, and documentation.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives throughout the organization.
• Report directly to the VP of Technical Programs.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in account management.
• Proven track record of building trust-based relationships with clients and managing multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
• Experience in working at or with a managed service provider (MSP).
• Demonstrated expertise in project management.
• Proficient in project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, and Jira.
• Strong experience in client management.
• Established ability to direct multiple projects from scoping through to execution.
• Proven capability to lead cross-functional collaboration and address challenges among internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to clearly articulate technical and security concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated skill in analyzing operations, spearheading improvement initiatives, and developing scalable processes.
• Experience in leading teams and managing upwards, including setting expectations and offering feedback.
• Genuine dedication to supporting mission-driven organizations.
• Ideal candidates will have prior experience working in or alongside nonprofits, campaigns, or advocacy groups.
• Familiarity with technology and digital security principles.
• Comfortable leading projects in complex remote settings with stakeholders across various teams and time zones.
• Willing to work outside of standard business hours and travel as necessary.
• Project management certification is a plus but not mandatory.
