Senior Technical Program Manager – Network Facilities

• Oversee and enhance intricate, ambiguous programs that have a substantial impact on the organization.

• Balance immediate deliverables with overarching strategic goals.

• Collaborate with leadership to foster teamwork across different organizational divisions.

• Define and implement strategic initiatives and processes that tackle significant cross-product challenges.

• Promote consistency, efficiency, and scalability across wireless infrastructure workstreams.

• Align senior leadership across various functions with differing objectives.

• Create innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

• Identify process inefficiencies and adapt swiftly to changes.

• Develop technical roadmaps and white papers in collaboration with engineering stakeholders.

• Influence technical decision-making through data-driven insights.

• Coach, mentor, and support team members.

• Establish best practices in program management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 7 years of experience in a service provider or enterprise network environment.

• Proficiency in various core and/or access networking concepts, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, ELINE/ELAN/EVPN, fiber optics, DWDM, transceivers, BMS, and AC/DC power systems.

• 4 years of experience in technical program management or a similar role leading complex, cross-functional, and high-impact initiatives.

• Expertise in building and sustaining effective program teams while establishing best practices for ongoing improvement.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.

• This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

• Preferred: proficiency in highly scalable core and access networks.

• Preferred: experience in provisioning, operating, and troubleshooting network equipment from Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Nokia, or Ciena.

• Preferred: knowledge of telecommunications electrical systems, including 120/208/240VAC, -48VDC, and PoE.

• Preferred: experience with network space planning.

• Preferred: experience in influencing architectural and structural decisions.

• Preferred: ability to identify systemic issues and translate them into transformative initiatives.
