Senior Technical Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of implementing the integrated Security & Privacy Roadmap from initiation and prioritization through to delivery and operational handoff.

• Define the scope, accountable owners, milestones, dependencies, decision points, and success metrics across multiple simultaneous initiatives.

• Spearhead the cross-functional execution of security risk-reduction initiatives, encompassing identity and access management, authorization, vulnerability remediation, auditability, data protection and retention, privacy controls, and security assurance.

• Organize quarterly planning inputs, discussions on capacity and sequencing, prioritization trade-offs, and commitments.

• Conduct program reviews while maintaining streamlined plans, RAID logs, decision records, and dashboards.

• Monitor leading indicators and delivery milestones; escalate obstacles with a clear impact, responsible party, and suggested next steps.

• Craft accurate, board-ready narratives and presentations that articulate risks, progress, measurable outcomes, changes, and necessary decisions or investments.

• Align both technical and non-technical stakeholders and facilitate decision-making in the event of conflicting priorities.

• Enhance the security program operating model by addressing persistent gaps in delivery, governance, and measurement.

• Ensure that roadmap initiatives have well-defined scope, owners, milestones, dependencies, and measurable risk or customer outcomes.

• Achieve agreed milestones and demonstrable risk reduction while documenting exceptions and residual risk.

• Deliver timely, succinct, evidence-based updates to leadership and the board.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience leading intricate technical programs, including significant experience in cybersecurity, product security, privacy, or a closely related risk-management field.

• Proven history of delivering multi-team programs across engineering and business functions.

• Experience collaborating with senior leaders and teams that do not directly report to you.

• Strong program management skills, including integrated plans, dependency and critical-path management, risk and issue resolution, capacity planning, change control, and outcome-driven reporting.

• Ability to comprehend security architecture and control objectives, identify delivery and risk gaps, and convey technical details in terms of business impact.

• Exceptional executive writing and presentation abilities.

• Experience in producing concise leadership updates or board-level materials grounded in verified evidence.

• Demonstrated an AI-first mindset in executing programs.

• Sound judgment in prioritizing risks while balancing urgency, customer impact, compliance requirements, and delivery capacity.

• Collaborative, low-ego approach with the ability to foster accountability through influence, structure, and clear communication.

• The candidate must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies governed by U.S. Export Administration Regulations.

• Preferred: Experience in a SaaS or technology firm with complex products, customer data, and cross-functional security responsibilities.

• Preferred: Familiarity with IAM and authorization, vulnerability management, data lifecycle controls, incident remediation, audit readiness, or privacy engineering.

• Preferred: Experience in defining program metrics, risk indicators, control evidence, and executive dashboards.
