Senior Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assess customer needs and convert them into detailed specification documents.

• Seamlessly integrate Flexera’s cloud or on-premises solutions with client systems from initiation to completion.

• Assist clients in transitioning from on-premises Flexera solutions to Flexera’s SaaS offerings.

• Design and develop integrations between Flexera solutions and third-party systems used by customers.

• Produce high-quality documentation.

• Provide project-specific solution enablement and standard product training.

• Define project scopes and assist in preparing service descriptions and effort estimations.

• Introduce innovative ideas and enhancements to current processes to elevate standards and quality.

• Establish trust and confidence with customer stakeholders, guiding them to enhance usage, adoption, and loyalty.

• Over 8 years of consulting experience in the IT sector.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Fundamental knowledge of cloud computing and familiarity with public cloud providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

• Understanding of advanced data and application architectures.

• Solid grasp of networking principles and IT security.

• Experience with ETL processes through APIs, flat files, or databases.

• Extensive knowledge of REST and SOAP.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and modifying Transact-SQL.

• Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.

• Basic understanding of software deployment, discovery, and inventory solutions, including Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Intune, HPE Universal Discovery, and BMC Helix Discovery.

• Expertise in Microsoft technologies, including SQL Server, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Internet Information Services.

• Preferred experience with Flexera solutions or other IT and Software Asset Management tools.

• Preferred experience with Cloud Management Platforms.

• Desired ability to create reports and dashboards using business intelligence software.

• Industry-recognized certifications such as ITIL, PRINCE2, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, and FinOps Certified Practitioner are advantageous.

• Desired understanding of virtualization technologies like VMware, XenApp, XenDesktop, and App-V.

• Desired understanding of container technologies and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
