Senior Technical Consultant – AI Agents, Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist the team in effectively utilizing AI agents throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Uphold engineering standards concerning correctness, security, maintainability, operational reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Create AI-assisted workflows for requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, code reviews, documentation, deployment, and operational support.

• Set up automated checks, evaluations, tests, and approval gates for outputs generated by AI.

• Incorporate AI agent functionalities with repositories, CI/CD pipelines, testing methodologies, and existing governance frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience that goes beyond mere demonstrations or isolated experiments.

• Documentation of systems utilized by software engineers or integrated into real-world development processes.

• Background in designing AI-assisted workflows across various stages, including requirements, design, coding, testing, code reviews, documentation, deployment, or operational support.

• Experience in enhancing the reliability and consistency of code produced by models.

• Proven ability to establish automated checks, evaluations, tests, and approval processes for AI-generated outputs.

• Capability to assess whether tasks should be handled by a single agent, multiple specialized agents, or through traditional automation.

• Experience in diagnosing recurring issues with agent behavior and systematically refining workflows.

• Knowledge of safeguarding source code, credentials, customer data, prompts, tools, and generated artifacts.

• Understanding of how to select, store, and transmit information between workflow phases while keeping it within model context limits.

• Competence in measuring and managing latency, token usage, model application, and operational expenses.

• Experience with integration into existing repositories, CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, and governance procedures.
