This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Transform innovative concepts into engaging player experiences that embody the essence of boxing, including atmosphere, tension, competition, and excitement.
• Develop shaders, effects, tools, and systems that empower artists to showcase the dynamic energy of sports.
• Operate at the convergence of art, design, and technology.
• Collaborate intimately with the Art Director, Artists, Designers, and Engineers.
• Establish standards, benchmarks, and performance metrics for the Art Team.
• Create and troubleshoot complex Cinemachine camera sequences.
• Develop and enhance DOTween animation sequences for mobile platforms.
• Engage in the recruitment process, which includes conducting initial interviews, assessments, and technical interviews.
• Extensive knowledge of Unity, encompassing import settings, prefabs, materials, rendering, asset pipelines, and content management.
• Familiarity with modeling, UV mapping, baking, texturing, LODs, rigging/skinning, and preparing assets for real-time environments.
• Experience in creating and optimizing shaders using Shader Graph/HLSL for 3D assets, as well as UI, 2D, and VFX.
• Understanding of atlases, sprites, masking, 9-slice, animated UI, material-based effects, texture optimization, and draw call reduction.
• Proficient in CPU/GPU profiling, overdraw, batching, draw calls, memory, textures, meshes, VFX, shaders, and managing performance metrics across various device tiers.
• Practical experience with Particle Systems/VFX, shader-based effects, and mobile optimization.
• Knowledge of URP, baked/mixed lighting, lightmaps, probes, post-processing, and balancing visual fidelity with performance.
• Experience in creating simple tools and editor utilities in C#, as well as automating repetitive tasks and asset validation.
• Familiarity with Frame Debugger, Unity Profiler, RenderDoc, or equivalent tools.
• Capacity to identify the root causes of visual and performance challenges.
• Experience in defining standards, benchmarks, and performance budgets for the Art Team.
• Strong understanding of Unity’s Cinemachine camera system, including Virtual Cameras, blending, follow/aim, dolly/splines, camera shake, and complex camera sequences.
• Practical knowledge of DOTween for UI, cameras, objects, materials, and shader parameters.
• Ability to create clear animation sequences and optimize them for mobile applications.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across Art, UI/UX, and Development teams.
