Senior Technical Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the leading technical authority on a supply chain and logistics initiative for a federal health client.

• Provide guidance to delivery teams and customer stakeholders regarding technical strategies and trade-offs.

• Address escalated technical inquiries that cross team boundaries.

• Evaluate designs and plans prior to commitment and identify potential issues.

• Convert customer requirements into feasible technological solutions.

• Enhance the technical acumen of surrounding team members.

• Counsel on complex technical decisions and mediate conflicts among teams without formal management authority.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree and over 18 years of technical experience in enterprise or federal IT.

• Proven experience in advisory roles on programs where your recommendations influenced outcomes.

• Expertise in at least two of the following areas: systems architecture, data, security, or delivery engineering.

• Direct experience collaborating with government stakeholders at a decision-making level.

• A history of resolving technical conflicts among teams that you do not directly manage.

• Experience advising on security accreditation, including Risk Management Framework activities and the necessary documentation for authorization and remediation.

• Previous experience in a technical lead capacity within SAFe, covering areas such as architecture, security, or testing.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation (Public Trust).

• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and have lived in the United States for a minimum of 3 years due to background check requirements.

• Selected applicants will undergo a Security Investigation and may need to fulfill criteria for access to Protected and/or Classified Information.

• Preferred qualifications include experience with federal health IT programs, depth in supply chain, logistics, or asset management domains; knowledge of Section 508 accessibility and Human Centered Design; familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, FEAF, DoDAF); experience in migrating legacy federal systems to the cloud; understanding of AI/ML within federal AI governance; and knowledge of federal IT governance and approved tooling processes.
