This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Offer guidance to People Business Partners and organizational leaders regarding performance issues, conduct matters, policy interpretation, and interpersonal disputes.
• Identify challenging issues, differentiate between facts and assumptions, and articulate risks, options, trade-offs, and recommended next steps.
• Utilize AI for responsible role-playing to assist leaders in having practical conversations, setting expectations, and ensuring follow-through.
• Look into team member concerns, document findings, and provide clear conclusions.
• Work collaboratively with leadership and legal counsel on agency claims and litigation issues.
• Record investigation patterns, insights, and guidance while upholding confidentiality.
• Analyze team member relations data to produce workforce insights, identify trends and root causes, and implement risk-mitigation strategies.
• Transform insights into coaching for leaders, resources for managers, policy updates, process adjustments, or targeted listening.
• Employ approved technology and AI tools for organizing information, conducting research, identifying patterns, drafting documents, and handling administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance by posting required information, issuing notices and acknowledgments, responding to subpoenas, coordinating with the unemployment insurance claims vendor, liaising with auditors, and collaborating with legal counsel.
• Draft and maintain clear, relevant, and future-focused workplace policies.
• Record decisions, templates, guidance, and lessons learned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in team member relations or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PHR certification is preferred.
• AWI-CH certification is preferred.
• Experience in conducting workplace investigations, analyzing data, and preparing both oral and written reports.
• Strong knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and policies within a corporate environment.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies in various situations.
• Capacity to manage multiple assignments and projects under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong consultation, active listening, conflict resolution, and presentation abilities.
• High ethical standards, leadership qualities, and the capacity to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Ability to integrate work across business units and engage effectively at all organizational levels.
• Strong judgment and discretion.
• Comfort in utilizing approved AI and digital tools, with an understanding that individuals remain accountable for reviewing, refining, and approving outputs.
• General familiarity with the Property & Casualty insurance industry is preferred.
