Senior Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conduct presentations and demonstrations during both in-person and virtual customer meetings.

• Execute and oversee proof of concepts (POCs) to ensure technical completion.

• Assist in lead generation efforts, encompassing events, webinars, and user groups.

• Collaborate with clients and partners to identify and translate business goals into technical specifications.

• Provide independent advisory support to clients utilizing technical knowledge in data protection.

• Partner closely with the sales team to attract new partners and clients.

• Liaise with Product Management to collect customer insights and feedback.

• Aid customers in evaluating Veeam software throughout the pre-sales phase.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in solution selling and/or technical pre-sales is preferred.

• Background in data protection technologies is essential.

• Experience in storage, networking, and/or cloud technologies is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools and frameworks is required.

• Demonstrated experience with virtualization technologies is necessary.

• Capability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment with minimal guidance.

• Quick adaptability to learn new technologies.

• Flexibility to adjust to evolving tasks and responsibilities.

• VMCE certification is advantageous; VMCE and VMCA certifications can be pursued after joining the organization.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the designated region.

• Experience in deploying software solutions within complex environments is a plus.

• Comprehensive understanding of Veeam and/or comparable technologies is beneficial.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities; capable of presenting to audiences in both English and German.

• Relevant industry certifications are considered a plus.
