Senior System Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze mission requirements and create technical specifications, implementation strategies, and verification standards.

• Engineer and integrate military health IT capabilities throughout enterprise network nodes.

• Evaluate system dependencies, interoperability, capacity, and operational readiness.

• Assist with OCONUS theater mobilization, site preparedness, and technical deployment initiatives.

• Address complex system challenges.

• Ensure requirements traceability and maintain engineering documentation.

• Link operational needs with systems engineering, integration, and OCONUS mobilization tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with military health IT systems and enterprise network nodes.

• Proven experience supporting OCONUS theater mobilization.

• Capability to formulate clear technical requirements and collaborate with engineering and operational stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience in managing personnel deployments.

• Familiarity with the Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT).

• Experience in coordinating host-nation theater clearance and DOCPER requirements across various OCONUS areas of responsibility.

• Active Secret clearance.

• Current U.S. passport with a minimum of 18 months validity remaining at the start of contract performance.

• Assigned DCWF role: 641, Systems Requirements Planner, Intermediate.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

• Microsoft Engineer/Architect certification and CCSP or CFR or FITSP-m or GSEC or Sec+ or SSCP or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience.

• Must meet applicable DoDM 8140.03 foundational qualifications before independently performing duties requiring privileged access or covered cybersecurity functions.

• Technical and OCONUS readiness must be established on the first day of performance and maintained throughout the assignment.
